Atomic Armor of Sidney Finkelstein

Page history last edited by Max Davenport 14 years, 1 month ago

Scientist, explorer and founder of the Terran Cyborg Potential Movement (see Machine and Robodroid Cults) Sidney Finkelstein (2516-264? Terran Common Era) is best known for the invention of this legendary suit of powered armor.  When fully assembled and powered the armor includes twin shoulder-mounted atomic rifles, dual wrist-rockets, radionic stun gun, and an electro sword for close quarter combat, in addition to a full communications and sensor array including Voice-Thrower and X-Ray Visor.  While these are fairly standard components of archaic Terran battle suits, Sidney's Armor was widely admired and copied for its innovative suite of charisma enhancements including an Atomic Voice Magnetizer, Interspecies Pheromone Synthesizer, breath-spray dispenser, in-boot height adjusters and on-board hyperindexed library of style and etiquette manuals, humorous anecdotes and pick-up lines.

A careful review of the Vanthian War Poem tradition suggests that Sidney's Armor has actually been on Vanth for centuries, long pre-dating the Vulkin Star Empire's mercantile intervention.  It is my contention that Sidney fatally crash-landed in the unmapped Southern Cannaboid Jungles during the Asteroid Tent Worm infestation of the 17th Cosmic Mayan Epoch.  The dimensions of recently recovered fertility idols from jungle ruins match the known technical specifics of Sidney's Armor perfectly.  Furthermore, stylized images of his Armor appear in the religious iconography throughout the former empire of the Cosmic Mayans.  This suggests that the suit's charismatic powers continued to operate for hundreds of years.  Since the demise of the cannibal empire Sidney's Armor seems lost to history, though my research is ongoing.

Quite literally a brilliant and insightful dissertation regarding this new information about the long sought after Atomic Armor of Sir. Sidney Finkelstein, Esq. -- Prof. S. Kalthoff--
